New project that I'm working on that is getting me very excited. I'll start with pictures of three lovely women, then i'll draw them in charcoal, pen and ink. Then, with help from a very thick volume of Botanical Specimens, I'll match them with a flower that I think is similar to their look//personality. I'll draw the flower in intricate detail, somehow interacting with their drawn bodies, and the botanical Latin name of the flower will be her title, written in calligraphy on the paper. Phew!
Here's a jumble of images that are helping me to get motivated and providing a jumping off point for how I want my pieces to feel and look like. I'll post soon with some actual progress.
